Hello and welcome to Aletheia Cakes website. I am so glad to have you here. In case we haven't met before, my name is Kissa Tembo, the Founder of Aletheia Cakes. I am a Christian, married and blessed with two beautiful girls.

I am an experienced cake maker and have been in the cake making business for almost 5 years now. My main previous services were providing celebration cakes and cupcakes to individuals in need of cakes for their birthdays e.t.c., but my focus and passion has now turned to offering online cake tutorials for anyone interested in learning how to bake and decorate cakes and cupcakes. I have learnt a lot along the way and I am happy to share my knowledge and experiences with beginners in cake making, so that they can develop to become great cake makers.
I learnt cake decorating via a Contemporary Cake Decorating course that was provided by Coventry City Council. Being qualified up to Level 2 in Food Safety in Catering helped me in being given a top rating of 5 in Food Hygiene by the UK Food Standards Agency.
Aletheia means God's divine truth revealed to man. John 8:32 (NKJV Bible) states that 'And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free'. Therefore, you will find that in most of my YouTube video tutorials, there will be references to Biblical verses at the end of each video, because if it wasn't for the grace of God, I wouldn't have been where I am today. God made me become a better cake maker and my hope and prayer is that you will also become great at making cakes, through God's grace and help.
